ChurchGather is a mobile-first church communication and community platform that brings interactive bulletins, announcements, events, giving, resources, Bible tools, live and replay content, and church administration into one connected experience.

Yes. ChurchGather is operated by ChurchGather LLC, a company registered in Indiana, United States. The official ChurchGather website is churchgather.app, and official product updates are published through ChurchGather channels.
Is ChurchGather free for churches and members?+
ChurchGather is planned to be free to download and free to use during Early Access for both individuals and churches. Standard third-party payment-processing fees may still apply when a church accepts payments.
Who is ChurchGather for?+
ChurchGather is designed for churches, pastors, administrators, ministry leaders, volunteers, members, and people who want a clearer way to stay connected with church life throughout the week.
Is ChurchGather a church management app?+
ChurchGather includes church administration tools, but it is designed as more than a back-office management system. It connects leader workflows with the member experience, including bulletins, events, announcements, giving, resources, Bible tools, and content discovery.
Can small churches use ChurchGather?+
Yes. ChurchGather is designed so a church can start with the essentials, such as its profile, interactive bulletin, announcements, and events, then adopt additional tools gradually.
What is the ChurchGather interactive bulletin?+
The interactive bulletin is a live digital view of a church service or program that can connect participants, roles, Bible references, songs, announcements, events, resources, and notifications in one place.
Can a church manage ChurchGather from a phone?+
Yes. The administration experience is designed mobile-first for bulletins, announcements, events, giving, resources, roles, participation, and member communication.
Does ChurchGather replace WhatsApp, email, or social media?+
Not necessarily. ChurchGather gives the church one trusted home for structured church information while existing communication channels can still be used where they make sense.
Can ChurchGather manage church events and registration?+
Yes. ChurchGather is designed to support event information, registration, capacity, reminders, paid participation, QR check-in, and attendance workflows.
Can ChurchGather be used for paid church events?+
Yes. A church can attach a payment or contribution flow to an event when registration includes a ticket, meal, retreat fee, conference fee, or another supported payment.
Does ChurchGather support online giving?+
Yes. Churches can create general giving opportunities, specific funds, campaigns, recurring giving options where supported, and event-related payments. A church can also keep an external giving link if it prefers its existing giving platform.
How does ChurchGather Giving work?+
A church first defines the giving purpose, such as general giving, a ministry fund, a campaign, or an event. It then chooses whether to accept the payment through its connected Stripe account inside ChurchGather or direct the member to an external giving website.
Does ChurchGather use Stripe for donations and payments?+
For payments accepted directly in ChurchGather, the receiving church connects and completes onboarding for its own Stripe account. Stripe is the financial source of truth for payment processing, while ChurchGather provides the giving experience, status, history, and related church context.
Does ChurchGather receive the church's donations?+
The payment flow is designed around the receiving church's connected Stripe account. ChurchGather organizes the giving experience around that payment flow rather than presenting itself as the church receiving the gift.
Can our church keep its existing donation website?+
Yes. A church can use an external giving link and send members to its existing website or giving platform instead of processing that gift directly in ChurchGather.
Can a church create fundraising campaigns in ChurchGather?+
Yes. A church can create campaigns around a clear project or cause and present the purpose and goal to members in a structured giving experience.
Do donors get receipts or payment history?+
When supported by the payment flow, ChurchGather is designed to make payment status, receipts, history, and refund-related information easier to understand, while Stripe remains the authoritative payment processor.
Does ChurchGather integrate with YouTube?+
ChurchGather can connect church video content from YouTube so eligible public videos, live streams, and replays can appear in the appropriate ChurchGather experiences while the church keeps visibility controls.
Does ChurchGather support church live streaming and replays?+
ChurchGather provides a Live & Replays discovery experience for live church content, upcoming streams, replays, YouTube videos, and related church video experiences. It organizes the content rather than replacing the underlying video platform.
What can churches publish in ChurchGather Resources?+
Resources can organize useful church content such as text, links, documents, images, audio, video, notes, sermons, study material, and other ministry resources.
What are Collections and Albums in ChurchGather?+
Collections and Albums organize resources into themed experiences such as Bible studies, sermon series, prayer resources, worship content, teaching series, videos, documents, and ministry materials.
Is the Bible available offline in ChurchGather?+
The app includes offline Bible access in six languages, subject to the content available in each language.
What languages does ChurchGather support?+
ChurchGather is designed to support English, French, Haitian Creole, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian across key parts of the experience.
How does ChurchGather protect church and member data?+
ChurchGather is designed around role-based access, privacy controls, server-side permission checks, and clear separation between public and private information. Sensitive access depends on the account, church relationship, role, and approved audience.
Can a church control who sees its content?+
Yes. ChurchGather distinguishes public content from content limited to approved audiences, and church leaders can use visibility and role controls for supported content.
Does a church have to move everything into ChurchGather at once?+
No. ChurchGather can complement tools a church already uses. Churches can adopt features gradually and keep existing communication channels, giving links, or media platforms where that makes sense.
How can my church get started with ChurchGather?+
Request onboarding as an individual or for a church or ministry.
